Tor Vergata University of Rome, partner in RESIST project (REsilience Support for Critical Infrastructures’ through Standardized Training on CBRN) organizes a course in the field of CBRN.
The 1st Level Master Course, spans over two academic years and provides 120 ECTS, according to the Bologna Process, is devoted to First Responders, and releases a first level academic title.
This Course aims at providing participants with suitable technical and operational skills and knowledge, so as to become key players in the new area of CBRNe risks. In order to participate in the Master Course and obtain the final degree (which has legal value according to Italian law), candidates must have a 180-ECTS point Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
The first year of the course foresees frontal lecturers with experts that operate on the field; the second year of the course foresees practical training in international CBRNe facilities.
At the end of the Master Course, students will be awarded the 1st-Level Master in “Protection against CBRNe events” (120 ECTS).The fee for the 1st Level master course is 15,000 euro.
The 2nd Level Master Course is devoted to the Advisors of decision-makers and spans over a one academic year period. It provides 60 ECTS, and releases a second level academic title.The Course aims at providing participants with appropriate technical, cognitive, and operational skills in order to help the Decision Makers manage CBRNe risk. In order to participate in the Master Course and obtain the official title (which has legal value according to Italian law), candidates must have a 300-ECTS point Master degree or equivalent.
At the end of the Master Course, students will be awarded the educational Qualification University’s 2nd Level Master in “Protection against CBRNe events” (60 ECTS).The fee for the 2nd Level master course is 7,000 euro. Both courses are organized in modules; a single module can be attended separately and the cost of every module is about 1,500 euros.
